Noah Vicknair - Guitar
Noah Vicknair is a multi-faceted musician from LaPlace, Louisiana. He began playing saxophone in middle school and later found his love for guitar, playing in rock bands and eventually discovering a passion for jazz. Noah grew up a student of some of the best school band programs in the area since the 3rd grade at St. Joan of Arc in LaPlace, and continuing on to play a variety of instruments being involved in marching band and various ensembles Archbishop Rummel High School.
He recently earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies from Loyola University and has been living in New Orleans ever since. In addition to teaching, Noah can be found performing regularly in New Orleans as a sideman with various groups and pit orchestras.
Noah’s teaching philosophy is based in meeting every student at their interests and helping them discover something meaningful to themselves, or to continue to explore and expand their passion for music.
