Guy Tem - Voice
Guy Tem is a voice teacher, vocal coach, and expert in vocal health. Using “Body Connected Singing,” Guy helps his students to find all the colors and timbres unique to their own instruments, while preserving a style that is distinctly theirs. The main focus of Guy’s work is helping his students to master a variety of styles and techniques—including belt, mix and legit--so that they are able to use all of these techniques in each and every song they perform. His unique approach fosters a mastery of breath control and vocal stamina, which support career longevity in a competitive field.
Guy’s clients include award-winning classical and musical theatre singers, Grammy-nominated label recording artists, American Idol and The Voice contestants, TV and movie actors, and students who have pursued advanced degrees at colleges across the U.S. and Europe. Originally from Ankara, Turkey, Tem has performed in over 200 opera productions overseas and in the U.S. and has had the privilege of working alongside famous singers, such as Placido Domingo, Samuel Ramey, Stephanie Blythe, Leo Nucci, and director Franco Zeffirelli.

An award-winning singer and voice teacher, Guy received his Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, and Performance Certificate from some of the most prestigious music conservatories in Turkey and Europe, including Conservatoire National Supérieur de Musique et de Danse de Paris. Tem’s teachers have taught at the Juilliard School of Music, Paris Conservatory, and Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory, Milan, and have included some of the most respected artists in classical music, including Luciano Pavarotti, Leyla Gencer, and David Jones.
