Matt Slaughter - Flute

Matt Slaughter is a graduate of the Oberlin Conservatory of Music where he studied classical flute under Michel Debost. He also spent a semester abroad at Conservatorium von Amsterdam with Harrie Starrveld.

 

As a member of the Oberlin Orchestra he played at Carnegie Hall and he has more recently been a substitute flautist with the Louisiana Philharmonic. He was honored to attend Boston University’s Tanglewood Institute and also placed 2nd in the Vancouver (WA) Symphony’s Young Artist Competition.

 

Matt has a passion for music and loves to share his knowledge with aspiring flautists. He has taught flute for 6 years to students ranging in age from 8 to adult.

$200/month for weekly 60 minute lessons

$130/month for weekly 30 minute lessons
